A year ago and a few days

A year ago and a few days, my breeder met my Dad in Eau Claire, MN at a McDonald's of all places to get me. I was 12 weeks old. In Kansas, my new mom and new sis were anxious for me to arrive. As soon as we got in the car (my dad and I), I started barking. It was a loud shrieking bark and I carried on for 30 minutes before I tired out. My dad had second thoughts about the decision to get a dog. We arrived in Kansas at 12 a.m. that Friday night after lots of potty breaks and I was terrified when my mom opened the car door to say hello to me. I even growled at her and wet my kennel in horror. I barked a lot that night too. Here are some pictures of me from my first days in Kansas. I wonder if my puppy siblings would remember me if we were to meet again. It has been so long since we've seen each other.

  1. I believe your puppy siblings would remember you. When we go back to college, sometimes that's the first time we've seen our siblings in 18 months, and we remember each other. At play groups too, it seems we all break up and play by litters. It's just more fun to play with siblings!

  2. I was going to say the same thing as Ellie and Hosta! On our dogs Celtic and Steeler's first birthday, we met up with the family we got them from, who had kept 3 of their siblings. They clearly knew each other and had a terrific reunion!

  3. That's so great they remembered their siblings! I'll have to figure out how to get Zig together with some of his siblings. Unfortunately, they are spread out all over the US. It would be so funny to watch though.
