Social distancing

My mom says we are well into the social quarantining period of COVID-19, but I don't get it. We've been on more walks than usual and yesterday we sat and stared at the old sycamore on the hill on campus. I sniffed for a long time and then sat with mom while she sketched. It was lovely outside. No one else was nearby. I'm suffering from lack of naps. That's all I know. My humans never leave me home alone anymore. Why are they always here? —Love, Zig

I'm an author, right?

My sis needs to interview an author for a school project and I write this blog so I count, right? Yes, I think so. Her project would be super interesting if she were to interview me. I have lots of thoughts about things.

Snow day

Today is a snow day. I love snow days. We took an epic walk on campus and as we were running across Iowa Street I heard a squeak. My human had brought the squeaky ball in her bag and it was bouncing on her back. This made me dance a jig in the middle of Iowa Street and then my human yelled that we had to hurry. Those cars would have stopped. Here's some photos from the walk! Oh! And you know what else? I've been told I'm getting a new bed! A Casper bed. I wonder if that will be like sleeping on a ghost.

2018 is coming to a close

I love spending time with my family and GOING along!

Christmas in Minnesota is exhausting

I had a lump removed from my side. It was terrible.

Sometimes I get to sneak into the house at Granny's.

I still have the best butt.

I spent my 10th birthday with Pepper. We had a turnip.

Mom still loves me lots.

Happy Halloween!

Hey Hey! My little buddy Dougie came over yesterday. Or at least I think it was him. He was dressed as a sushi and he smelled like salami. Mom said something about it being Halloween, but I don’t wear clothes or costumes so I don’t know. There was a bowl with cookies in it though! Dougie and I got treats for tricks so I was happy.

Fall+zombies+cold

Hey everyone! It’s fall in Kansas and my landlords are stingy with the heat. But the faces on this blanket are frightening so I just could not move. I don’t know what the obsession over zombies (Oops! I said the Zed word) is about, but I am TERRIFIED by them.

Kanapolis Lake

Kanapolis Lake is quite fun. Especially in a wet year. I went swimming lots of times and slipped off a beaver dam. When the tent blew over, I was done. Ready to go home.

It's ball day

My favorite balls are on sale! My mom ordered me some new ones as mine have all been placed somewhere special or eaten up by yours truly. They arrived today and I knew immediately what was in the box!

One happy dog

This week, a box arrived at our house. I knew immediately what was inside and made it known the box needed to be opened! I found three new balls inside and the best part is...they sound like marmots squeaking in the mountains. Mom only let me have this one. I'm still search for the other two balls.
