This week I finished up another class with the
Lawrence Jayhawk Kennel Club, called Fun and Games. It was a fun class. We learned to to a lot of tricks that are useful to our humans and were exposed to basic, basic agility stuff. On the last night of class we each had to do a trick. I did rollover on the concrete floor and everyone cheered. One classmate retrieved his owner's slippers and another trimmed his own nails on sandpaper board and another stood and sat on a step stool. All of it was pretty cool. Then we played a final game called lily pads (actually carpet squares). Each dog/owner had to go to each lily pad and pick up a small slip of paper with a number on it. The dog had to sit and stay at each lily pad while the owner was getting the number. I'm a quick sitter so we were done in a jiffy even though we didn't know it was a race. WE WON with a time of 2 minutes and 36 seconds. What a way to finish a class! Up next on the class schedule is Intermediate 1 agility at
