Christmas day 2011

Hmm....that is not what I had in mind for Christmas. Now I must fret about where to hide it.

A day outside is a good Christmas present even if there isn't any snow.
We did get a new path full of loose rock for me to dig in. Pretty cool.

Merry Christmas!

Today

I've had a very traumatic day. This morning, when my dad left, he gave me a kong with a treat and peanut butter inside. I raced upstairs to eat it on the parents' bed and the worst thing in the history of the world happened. . . I dropped it between the wall and the bed and it fell down, down, down to land against the wall under the middle of the bed. I stared in disbelief for four hours, drooling and woofing every once in awhile until I heard my mom come home. I raced downstairs to greet her and tell her what happened. Then I had to run back upstairs and tell her exactly where the kong was trapped. She didn't understand without me pointing it out. Then she saw it and reached under the bed to retrieve it. Thank goodness. I got to eat my peanut butter and cookie, at long last.
