Hiking at Clinton Lake

I collected a lot of little green sticky friends this evening. It took
forever to be brushed and bathed.

This a.m.'s walk

Good morning!

Today, on our early morning walk, I was approached by a fearless black cat. No fear whatsoever. Sort of like Stanley (the cat) at Sunflower bike shop. This cat came right up to my face meowing the whole way and I tried to stand my ground, but I was jumpy. My mom was nervous that I would kill the cat, but I was too scared to think of doing that. Then the cat started to twitch it's tail so I wagged mine. I think our tail movements meant two different things though. We moved on down the sidewalk after the tail twitching began.

That's all I've got for today.

One foot on the ground

Whoever said you need to keep all 4 feet on the ground? I think 1 foot is plenty, but more importantly, it's always good to have flapping jowls when you run.

I do love to run. Especially in the sand on the beach of Big Sand. I spent most of my time chasing the tail of another dog.

Just a couple of sea otters...

This is me and my cousin Maggie, pretending to be sea otters at the lake. Maggie LOVES to fetch tennis balls and I just followed her around.

My apologies

Please accept my apologies for not posting much to my blog lately. It is really, really hot in Kansas. I want to return to Minnesota.

I tried to swim in a "lake" over the weekend and it turned out to not be a lake. It was a lagoon. I enjoyed myself, but mom was mad and she sprayed me down with ice cold water from a garden hoze immediately after wards. It didn't really help get the smell off though. I have had a bath with soap since and am smelling much better now.

Ok. Back to my nap now. -Zig

P.s. I also learned the hard way, what an electric fence does. Yikes! You should take my advice and stay away from them!

Perfect profile

What I've been up to...

Hi everyone!
About 3 weeks ago, I hurt my right, back leg when I was trying to rid the yard of a three legged cat. I got rid of the cat, but I hurt my leg in the process. I yelped and yelped and yelped and limped for 2 or 3 days. It started to get better, but then we went to the farm and I had to chase more cats and play with Pepper too. So, I started limping again. Back in the city again, I began to heal, but every time I run, it starts to hurt again and I favor it. We visited the vet and got some meds (anti-inflammatory) and I supposed to be calm. BUT how can I be calm when their might be a cat in the yard when I go out? So, it still isn't all better and it's been 4 weeks now. Hopefully, I'll be back soon, running full speed!
